POSITION: Lifeguard - Application Pool
DISPLAY PERIOD: From July 7 to August 9, 2026 inclusive
SALARY: $21.95/hour
SCHEDULE: Day, evening, and weekend shifts
STATUS: Temporary
WORK MODE: On-site
WORK LOCATION: All pools in the City of Laval
- Ensures the safety of users at all times.
- Ensures the safety of users at all times;
- Ensures compliance with pool regulations;
- Collaborates in the organization and facilitation of activities at their pool;
- Assists with maintenance tasks;
- Keeps equipment and the site in good condition;
- Ensures that the various required reports are completed;
- Reports any observed anomalies to their immediate supervisor;
- Provides first aid and follows received directives in case of serious injuries;
- Calls the police in cases of vandalism, theft, and incidents that warrant it.
- The tasks and responsibilities listed above do not constitute an exhaustive and limiting statement of the duties to be performed by the holder of this position.
- Hold a valid National Lifeguard certificate issued by the Lifesaving Society;
- The following certificates are assets:
- Swimming Instructor issued by the Lifesaving Society;
- Lifeguard Instructor issued by the Lifesaving Society
